Doosan Enerility Vietnam Co. Ltd. (Doosan Vina) announced that the Vietnam Customs Department has recently approved to renew its Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certificate for the second time. The certificate is valid for 3 years from March 20, 2025.

Currently, there are only 76 enterprises in Vietnam that have been granted AEO certification. Doosan Vina is proud to be one of them and the only enterprise in Quang Ngai province that possesses this priority certification.

Doosan Vina first certified the AEO certificate on March 20, 2019 and became the only AEO enterprise in the customs sector in Quang Ngai at that time. In 2022, Doosan Vina successfully renewed its certificate for the first time which valued until March 19, 2025.

To maintain the validity of the certificate, from February 26, 2025 to March 11, 2025, Doosan Vina received an inspection team from the General Department of Customs for a comprehensive post-clearance inspection to assess compliance for consideration of the second certificate renewal. In 10 days working, the team inspected: Customs and accounting records and data; Warehouses and other documents related to import and export activities; The enterprise's internal control system including information technology, human resources, security, inventory, purchasing, production, ... within 05 years from February 18, 2020 to February 17, 2025.

With the AEO certification, Doosan Vina is entitled to preferential treatment in customs procedures, inspections, and customs supervision for all types of exports and imports at all customs organizations nationwide including: Exemption from document inspection, exemption from physical inspection of goods; customs clearance with incomplete declarations; Priority in the order of customs procedures, specialized inspections, tax procedures, on-site import and export procedures, and post-clearance inspections.

These incentives contribute significantly to promoting the Doosan Vina’s production and business activities through rapid customs clearance, contributing to cost reduction, ensuring the production schedule, creating prestige with customers when being recognized as an enterprise complying with level 1 according to the provisions of the Customs Law, ...

In particular, in the coming time, when Vietnam signs a mutual recognition agreement on AEO with other countries, Doosan Vina will have great benefits because it is recognized and enjoys preferential treatment in the customs sector in the countries that join the agreement.
