Electricity is an indispensable commodity today that makes life more enjoyable for people all over the world.  And the people of Egypt will soon be enjoying more of that precious commodity thanks to the skilled men and women of Doosan Vina and the advanced technology that was engineered into the Ain Sokhna thermal power plant boiler that was shipped from the company’s Quang Ngai Complex. 

This 650 MW boiler project shipment weighed 1,443 tons and is the first “Made in Vietnam” Doosan Vina product to be sent to Egypt. The Doosan Vina Boiler will be at the heart of this massive thermal power plant in the Ain Sokhna power plant, in Eastern Egypt and aiding the development and progress of modern Egypt.  

The Ain Sokhna boiler project was signed with the East Delta Electricity Production Power Company last October and includes two 650 MW units with a total weight of 2,886 tons and generating capacity of 1,300 MW. 

This shipment is the third within a month for the Boiler division of Doosan Vina, one of five factories in the company’s 2,000 employee strong, central Vietnam 110-hectare site.
