Five-day work a week

We run 5-day work a week to save time for employees to rest and take care of their families. We believe that once employees are happy, they will have great contributions to the company.

Library

To promote reading culture as well as contribute to improve employees’ knowledge, the company opens a library with 814 books covering variety aspects of life which serve employees both at the company and at home.

The employees can learn from each other and exchange knowledge and skills through clubs of sport (football, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, running, chess, …), art & culture (music, charity, reading, English, …).

Vacation & Leisure Time

“One Mind” Festival/Workshop

We hold annual “One Mind” Festival/Workshop company-wide or division-wide to create a lively and pleasant working environment and to strengthen solidarity among colleagues.

Summer Vacation

Every employee is subjected to have three days off for Summer Vacation with fully paid. This is also one of our efforts to create more time for employees to enjoy with their beloved.

Sightseeing Trip

There are two 2-day trips for union members each year. They can check-in the famous tourist destinations in the region to relax and enjoy the outdoors together.

Exploration Trip at Product Operation Sites

The “Key Worker” program is an opportunity for typical employees to visit factories where the products they made are operating. This activity is to increase pride in themselves and the company, creating motivation for employees to make stronger efforts.

Refreshment Time

We apply two breaktimes per day with each includes 10 minutes for employees to have a relaxation in the middle of each morning and afternoon.

Other Off-work Times

- When employees get married, they get 5 paid-day off and when their children get married, they get 1 paid-day off.
- In case of a family funeral (grandparents, parents, spouse, children), employees get 2 - 3 paid-day off depending on each case.
- Additionally, employees will have other off days such as holidays, annually leave, sick leave, maternity leave, ... as listed by law.

Support Balancing Work - Family

“Doosan Dream” Kindergarten

We open a Doosan Dream Kindergarten for children of employees who are from 24 months to under 6 years old to take care of during employees’ working hours. At school, the children will be cared for with nutritious meals as well as have chances to attend interesting leisure and learning activities.

Maternal Protection

Various types of maternal protection programs are being operated to support employees’ balancing of work and family responsibilities. e.g., pregnancy check-ups leave, maternity leave, rest during pregnancy, reduction of workhours during childcare period, leave for family care, ...

Gifts for Children

- Gifts for newborns are given to congratulate employees who recently give birth to a child.
- Gifts for children who have good results at school from kindergarten to university levels.
- Gifts for children on International Children’s Day.

Rooms for Mothers

Doosan Vina established two special rooms: one is for prenatal care and the other is for postnatal women.
- A room for postnatal mothers covers 27 square meters includes a refrigerator for milk storage, two massage chairs, a sofa, a water purifier, a cabinet, and a basin.
- A room for prenatal mothers is 30 square meters and equipped with sofas, a refrigerator, cabinets, and tables.

Support Building House

Doosan Vina operated two support programs including Dream House and Clean House for employees who have difficulties in completing their dream of a safe shelter by donating cash, construction material, and labor.

Congratulations and Condolences

Congratulatory gifts are given to employees on the occasions of weddings, holidays, and anniversaries.
Employee is supported when their family has a funeral (themselves, spouses, children, parents, grandparents), and when they are sick.

Dormitory for single employee

The company has 84 rooms at 3 dormitories for single employees. The dormitories are equipped with many amenities such as gym, soccer field, badminton court, volleyball court, table tennis court, billiard room, canteen... to provide the most modern and comfortable living environment for employees.

The company built 3 apartment buildings with 91 apartments for employees' families which are secured, clean, airy with swimming pool, golf field, gym, football field, tennis court, volleyball court, basketball court, table tennis room, billiard room, ...

Daily Shuttle Bus

The company has a high-quality bus system to transport employees every day.

Every week, the company arranges vehicles to take employees for shopping in Quang Ngai and Da Nang on Wednesday afternoons and weekends.

The company supports vehicle to shuttle those who attend the employee’s wedding, go for business trip, go for sightseeing, go home for welcoming traditional Tet, and so on.

Meal

Cafeterias

Company runs three cafeterias at different areas, providing nutritious menus for our employees most convenient. Employees can have three basic meals a day at the cafeterias. Additionally, we serves supper for night shift workers, too.

Medical & Health Care

Health Clinic

Doosan Vina establishes a health center run by a doctor, four nurses and three ambulance drivers operating 24/7. The center is fully equipped with medical equipment and over 80 kinds of medicines. In 2017, the center was licensed to become the initial health insurance for its employees.

Periodical Health Checks

Every year, the company invites reputable medical facilities in the field to conduct periodic health check-ups for employees, including general health check-ups and occupational health check-ups.

Insurance

In addition to ensuring full participation in health insurance, social insurance, and unemployment insurance as prescribed, Doosan Vina also purchases 24-hour accident insurance for all employees.
